Uptrennd Nation, it's time to raise the quality-bar! 🙂With our recent update of reducing the value of non-oc, many people have started posting very low-quality content in the OC section, in hopes of being able to earn the same amount as before.Uptrennd is not about 'Fishing for Upvotes' by simply saying "bitcoin good". And it's certainly not about giving "Bitcoin Good" posts an upvote, in the expectation that they will return the favor.Infact, 'returning the favor' is what we consider 'Upvote for Upvote' and is a mutable offense.When people asked "why can't we upvote from the profile pages anymore",it became very clear that people were not using the upvote button for the right reasons.You can't upvote from the profile pages because you are supposed to READ before you upvote 😂The only reason to give an upvote is that something is quality content.Inversely, if something is low-quality, downvote it! Best Solution To Stop Game Of Upvote For Upvote
Hello, Uptrenndian today I have read Sir Jeff's post in which he advised us to use the downvote button to stop low quality post on uptrennd. In fact, a lot of time posts like this had been made by many Uptrenndian especially team members and moderators. And a lot of the time I had seen in the telegram that type of discussion. But no one is following this advice and pressing the upvote button for low quality and scam posts. I know there will be some new users who are doing things like that I am not talking about them. The whole post will be related to those people who understand Uptrennd or them at least understand the vision of uptrennd that is "Support quality content and motivate quality content writer"
How to eliminate this problem from the root?Yes, we can eliminate this problem from the root but for this, we have to understand the reason for the problem. We have to analyze it. Honestly speaking, when I read sir jeff post then I started thinking about it and then I reached to point and I consider it the biggest reason for this problem. That is " Upvoter name is showing in notification".
Let me explain "When someone upvotes to the other post then his name show in the notification so in return he also gives back upvote to his post and then this train starts a journey that is never-ending. Then they start repeating this process every day and they easily get 3 upvote from a single user due to mutual sharing of upvote". This is not the end of the story. Consider if someone builds this relationship with 50 users and they start doing this every day so everyone will get 150 upvotes daily. Believe me, we are wasting these upvotes and points. And infect wasting money also.

Let me more simplify it, consider if down voter show in notification then what will I (Here I mean Human psychology) do? There are three possibility
I will bookmark his id and daily I will give three downvotes.
Or I will stop upvoting his posts in future no matter how much value he has added or what type of his content is!.
Or at least I will hesitate to press the upvote button for his post.

Best Solution For This Game
After thinking about the whole present situation I came to a final solution to eliminate or minimize it to a possible extent. That is "Uptrennd should introduce new someone notification in place of the upvoter name in notification section". To differentiate it at a glance uptrennd devs team can give it a different color.
I hope all the people who like quality content and engagement with it will love my suggestion. This is only my suggestion I hope a lot of other Uptrenndian will give more solution or will add to this solution.
