Where is the world Heading!

I have spent months pondering on the impact of politics on all citizens of the world. I concluded after a short while that the common humans are just pawns on the chess while nature is the chessboard.

I expressed my plights with friends in various continents, and we only concluded on a grand summary, that politics is absolutely the same all over the world; but on various different levels of gameplay difficulties.

The two dominate parties in the US (Republican and Democrats) has led the path and formed a kind of structure for modern world politics. A source in the US gave his accounts as follow:

"There’s nothing bad with been a republican actually Abraham Lincoln was a republican while Democrats were slave owners. The republican party is pro-life, pro-business, believes in conservative family values, promotes Christian values, the 2nd amendment which is the right to carry guns. Most businesses in the US are now leaving democratic controlled states and coming to Texas due to the conducive business atmosphere. In places like New York/Los Angeles, the cost of living is high, taxation is on the high side; hard to get business off the ground with low quality of life"

Down to Nigeria; politics is getting all crazier and corruption on the high side. The Centralization of power has provided a safe haven for corruption in all sectors, all the way to the grassroots. The 3 major tribes in Nigeria is indeed the source of the national problem source. The ruling power has moved from 2 major tribes for decades based on some part histories.

Based on my logical reasoning and opinion; I suppose it is high time Nigeria takes a leap from the so-called political party candidate who contests and spites themselves in the public while kissing and making-out behind close doors.

Maybe it's time to give the Igbo's a chance at last. We can't keep them under our roof when they truly do not want to be a member of the house. When a child disowns his father and mother, he can't be termed a bastard; maybe presumed a warrior.

It's time for new Nigeria; decentralization of power in a form of CONFEDERATION is the way to go because the active trending of corruption is as a result of overwhelming central power/control of the national wealth/resources. Funny, this central power is also loyal to the ruling party(s).

Greed/Corruption is the new virus that has successfully evaded the generations before us; now actively booming in our generation and beginning to infect the generation below us.

For fact's sake; gather 100 students from a school and ask them what they would like to become in the future; over 65% will tell you Governor/president/senator. And when you ask them why; most do not have a concrete reason while others will say, because "I want to be very rich"

CORRUPTION IS RIGHT UNDER OUR ROOF; BORING DEEP INTO OUR FOUNDATION.

agree with all, and I have I feeling it is global political setup. we are moving in completely wrong direction. and regarding question: "what do you want to be when you grow up?", in my contry, most of the kids and teens will say:"youtuber", because they are rich and they can play games and don't work at all. so, this is maybe even worst option, because they (kids and teens) dont have the urge to create something, to invent something. main point is to earn, and "not do anything". just to be clear, I don't think youtubers do not do anything :)

YouTube business is not viable in Africa because internet data is pretty expensive and YouTube consumes a large chunk of data. Majority of the populace can't afford to subscribe for data used to watch YouTube for a month....

Few people that are into YouTube have Americans and Europeans as their major subscribers💯

Wow, that is even worse. I presume every country has its own issue, some are only weighty than the other. It is my belief that we make a difference through our own immediate families to make a change in ideology all over the world.

Still better than in my country. Some of the kids want to become drug dealers in some cities of my country.

Something really big is coming which will completely test our beliefs, our way of life, way of spending, way of working. The citizens are becoming forced to live in a completely new world.

Though I agree with you that politics is a dirty game all over the world but I wi still maintain that the level of filth in the Nigerian political scene has become sickening. Corruption thrives almost as a legal concept here in the country and it doesn't seem like we'll be out of this mess anytime soon

I can not help but laugh about the corrupt Chief Justices who are by law meant to uphold the balance of justice. But abuse their power in impunity

Corruption had really eaten up our nation Nigeria, the way things are going is so bad. The problem is giving a poor man with little connection opportunity to rule, he would want to amass wealth to himself and that's the issue. I personally don't know how to go about the politics in Nigeria, but a person that has the fear of God and loves subject is what we need as a leader

What is important now is that all states should rule and be in charge of their resources and not give all control to the central power and the Federal Police should be dissolved and made State Police instead.

I think this is the best solution. No president just governors and a representative from the meetings of governors, the state police would really help, but states like kaduna would still have a lot of problems

Honestly, each time I think of the future of this generation, I'm always scared and nervous of what the future may hold.

God blessed us with a lot great resources, but unfortunately we are dominated by corrupt Leaders.

It's pathetic and heartbreaking.

May God save us all

Well, I am of the opinion of raising our children with the traditional roots but in a developed country, this will provide them more opportunity and grant them a more optimistic future.

I'm sorry but Nigeria case is a lost one. The new generation are worse as they prefer cheap cash to hardwork. Again, there's no ideology in Nigeria politics as corruption is the end game for all politicians. Again, democracy will likely not thrive with high illiteracy rate and this is telling in Nigeria. People are more comfortable with hand outs during elections

The poverty rate too is increasing so much do the people see this supposed chicken change as something they could get by with at least for five days to one week. I believe our wicked politicians deliberately created this so more people will be subservient
