As uptrennd celebrated its 1st birthday on January 1st 2020, I did a little research on its monthly growth patterns and compiled an easy to follow chart.
From the end of its first month in January 2019 to the last day of December 2019 it experienced an overall growth on 14469% with an average of over 76% increase month on month
October and November saw the biggest monthly increases for new members at over 13k for each month, nearly twice as much as any other month. These figures dipping in December, a traditionally quieter month for social media due to the holiday season.
With the new features and benefits pencilled in for 2020 along with further marketing, recommendations and brand awareness, it’s only natural to assume the figures for this year will show further growth, and all this coupled with increasing censorship from the likes of YouTube and Google and privacy concerns from Facebook, will play further into the hands of platforms like Uptrennd who are clearly fighting to reverse these typical social media trends.
I think it’s fair to say 2020 is set up to be a big year for Uptrennd.
