The scheduled match between Quetta and Islamabad will start at 7 pm today
Two more players from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and a supporting staff member Kakurona tested positive.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman Samiul Hassan Burney told a press conference in Karachi today that the board had conducted 244 tests in the last 24 hours, including players and officials.
He said that 112 broadcasting staff are also participating in the event which has been tested today.
Samiul Hassan further said that today the match between Islamabad and Quetta will be as per the schedule while a virtual meeting is also being held today to take the franchise owners into confidence in which important decisions are expected.
He said that today the tests of two foreign players and a supporting staff member of a team have come positive after which they have been quarantined on the same floor of the hotel.
He said that the schedule of PSL was not being changed while the participation of spectators in the matches would also be maintained.
