The Girls Helping Me Plant the First Seeds of 2020!

Now that the weather is starting to warm up here in New York, it's time for the first seed sowing of the 2020 season!

My girls were very exciting to help with the planting.

We focused on planting some cool-weather crops (plants that can tolerate the occasional overnight frost without dying back): peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower.

Next month, we'll start sowing the seeds for the warm weather crops.

What are some things that you grow in your garden?

This is really amazing and it is a very good thing to teach young children how to do such kind of work. When children grow up with a practical mind they are always very positive to life and they always succeed...I wish you all the best in your sowing.

That is so cCute!! You're a Excellent dad teaching your kids this stuff. My own small farm has been producing small quantities of food that is coming in handy during this quarantine. People are really going to appreciate farmers. Well done to you and your kids😃

Thank you so much!

Yeah, this quarantine showcases the importance of our own gardens!

You should post some pictures and videos of your own garden/farm!
