The Palm has many mysteries in my locality. When a new born baby is given birth to, they don't allow any one to open his or her Palm because they believe that her destiny is hidden there. They fear that wicked people might open the Palm, see the child's destiny and plan to destroy it. Lol. I don't know if this is also common in other localities.
There is also another belief in my locality that if your Palm is scratching you, it means money is coming your way. They don't explain if the money will be much or not.
