Thank God it's Friy(/d)ay!

First of all, How are you doing? It's been a while. Well, I have been MIA for a lot of reasons but I am here now, so let's catch up.

Since it's friday and the first day of the weekend, let's talk Music! It's no longer news that Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has picked a Grammy nomination for his Twice as Tall in the Best Global Music Album Category and this is his second straight nomination.

I am a Burna fan so I am so happy for me, and Do I think the nomination is well deserved? Of Course! If you have an ear for good music, you'd know without a doubt that Burna did well on that Album. The 15 track album comprised of genres from afrobeats, dancehall etc. 

My favourite song from the album is Monsters you made, featuring Chris Martins. The song reminds me of "THUGLIFE", the acronym popularized by Tupac Shakur which stands for "The hate you give little infants f's everyone".  Monsters you made talks about how fast things can change when people have had enough of Bad Governance, it also talks about the effect Colonialism has had on our lives and minds as Nigerians. Onyeka is a lovely track too, amongst others.
