Nordis Group: Home purchases are more profitable - and safer - than other investment methods

The company's representatives have noticed, during this year, a tendency to increase the budget that real estate investors are willing to allocate.

In the last five years, real estate - and, more precisely, residential - have offered a higher return compared to other investment methods, reveals an analysis conducted by financial analyst Florin Stanciu for Nordis Group. Thus, in the period 2015-2020 was recorded, compared to the third quarter of each year, an aggregate increase of about 46% in house prices (per square meter). "This translates into an average increase of 7.9% per year. If we were to take into account their renting for a period of five years, this would lead to a net higher return on real estate investments compared to the other investment methods analyzed, namely government securities and stock exchanges ", note the company's representatives.

By comparison, a riskier asset class, such as the capital market, would have yielded 33% over the same period (BET increase). On the other hand, government bonds issued by the Romanian state every five years offer yields of 3.65% pa, respectively 4.15% pa at ten years.
