Wow! This is great to bring back all my golden memories of when I'm in my childhood years playing all our traditional games/sports, my special mention to our handsome amazing Guardian bro @Adelan I for creating this awesome contest. Kudos to him and all the Uptrennd Guardians who are helping us to bring quality content here at Uptrennd!
As you can see on my header photo, it is one of my favorite street games back in the '80s. It is called "tumbang preso", this game needs one tin can (empty), a lot of players and two slippers for each player.
The mechanics of the game is to hit the can with a slipper at a distance of 20 feet, the can is standing inside a drawn circle and guarded by one defender, he/she have to touch any player that attempting to hit the can with their slippers, as long as the can is still doesn't hit the defender may chase and touch a player to change their position on the game, if the can hits he/she should take the can and put it back (standing) inside the circle. Awesome game!
The image above is some of our Philippine street games. I think I haven't missed out on any games during my childhood days.
Eventually, at the age of 18, I started to play billiard just around the blocks near our house it is my favorite sport until today.
What can I say? I'm a big fan of Efren "Bata" Reyes known as "The Magician in the world of billiards.
I might say, I'm improving my games as I do believe in saying "Practice makes perfect"
All of us have a favorite childhood game and my favorite one is epic for me, how I wish to be a child again to play my favorite game one more time.
Thanks and keep on Uptrennding!
