Kagan Valley is a beautiful valley located in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is world famous for its natural beauty. Many famous recreational and beautiful places in the northern parts of Pakistan are located in this valley۔
Summer is the best time to visit the northern regions of Pakistan. In June-July, when other parts of Pakistan are in the grip of extreme heat, the weather in the northern parts of Pakistan is very pleasant. That is why a large number of tourists from home and abroad flock to the northern regions and enjoy the natural beauty and pleasant weather. So let us take you on a tour of the beautiful Kagan and Naran valleys today.
The valley stretches for 155 km and is elevated from 2134 m to 4173 m above sea level at various places up to Babusar Pass. The Kunhar River flows in the middle of this valley. The population is fluent in Pashto and Urdu. It is called the paradise on earth because of its beautiful scenery. May to September is the best time to visit here. In the rainy and winter seasons, movement in the valley becomes difficult. This beautiful valley can be reached from Balakot, Abbottabad and Mansehra. Kagan and Naran can be reached by van from Balakot. The Kunhar River flows along the entire route from Balakot to Naran. Along the way, beautiful mountains, forests and rivers offer views. On the way from Balakot to Naran are the beautiful towns of Kiwai, Shino, Jarid and Mahandri. Naran is a town located in the Kagan Valley, 119 km from Mansehra city and 75 km from Balakot.
