Only a few Manchester United fans would believe that their team would be sitting at the top of the English Premier League right now judging from how they started the league.
Last night we saw them overtook Liverpool who has been sitting at the top of the league table for a few weeks now. United were able to achieve that success after defeating Burnley away from home on Tuesday night.
United gave their best to get all three points from the match as Burnley stood tight in defense against them. United created lots of chances and had eight shots on goal but only one went past the home team goalkeeper.
Burnley on the other hand couldn't register a shot on target throughout the 90 of action at the Turf Moor stadium.
Paul Pogba was the star of the night, the French Midfielder scored the only goal of the match in the 71st minutes of the match.
United are back in the title race and we might be seeing them lift more than one trophy since they are participating in the Uefa Europa League and the FA Cup. We saw them crash out of the EFL after they were defeated by Manchester City.
At this point, I believe Ole Gunner will be safe with his job and his previous sins have been forgiven...
Can United end up as league winners?
