According to our guardian, this contest is for engagement on the platform and so he organized this as a way to engage instead of running away 😅 Simply click the link and it takes you there directly.
Life itself is a lesson on its own. There are different ways we learn and how it has affected us and how it has influenced us positively. We all have our experiences either our own or other people's own. We just have to learn in a hard or soft way. That's life for you.
WHAT LIFE HAS TAUGHT ME SO FAR.....
Well, I have been in this life for 27 years and life has dealt with me so hard and it has also favored me. We can't just be in this life without taking something from it. I will explain in three ways how life has taught me.
1. IN ALL YOU DO, DEPEND ONLY ON GOD
Life is nothing without God. He created us and knows all we need. In Jeremiah 29:11, He says He knows the thought He has for us. Thought of good and not evil and to give us an expected end. I have come to the knowledge to understand God and how He works. Many times, I have always committed everything to His hand because I believe Him.
This contest is a coincidence to what God had done in my life, just because I depended on Him. I truly entrusted all things into His hand and ever since I have been in school, up till now, I have never lacked or get disappointed over my results. When I wake up, I commit my ways for that day and He is always there.
An accident happened on Sunday on my way going back to school. My brother saw me off to the park and just little mistake would have claimed our lives. God really saved I and my brother that day but I give thanks to Him. This is all because I depended, trusted and committed my life in His hand.
2. DO NOT TAKE THE SHORTCUTS
We human beings believe only in shortcuts that leads to success. But do you know shortcuts doesn't pay? You will only regret your steps. The only pathway to being successful is your hard work, consistency, patience, endurance and determination. Life has taught me that shortcuts are only gonna take your life in a short while.
3. DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS
I have seen many of my mates succeeding in life, wearing designers, getting married, etc but do you know what? It's not my time yet. I looked at many people wanting to join their cliques, thereby going to do what they ought not to do. What's the end result? Many have met themselves in the grave, some are mad already while others have been used and are like walking corpse on the street. Life taught me to wait for my time, keep working hard and praying to God. The truth is even if you do not have what others are using to oppress you, a time will come when those things would look small in your eyes.
God's time is the best and you will be amazed at how things are working for you. Once you aren't lazy, and you are goal oriented, you will enjoy life.
THESE ARE SOME OF MY LIFE LESSONS AS I DO NOT WANT TO BORE YOU WITH MY LONG POST. THANK YOU.
