Many communities are already investing in the youths because they have realized the importance of integrating these young bloods into the system and watching them while they grow to become an asset that will help to boost the growth of the community. This also helps to boost the morale of these youngsters and make them to feel that they are significant in the society.

Youths are visionaries but all these visions and self esteem can easily loose its flare whenever they are not well nurtured and channeled into the right places. This is exactly why the idea of investing in youths is being promoted across all countries of the world.

There are various areas that we can look into in our society whenever we feel like investing in youths. Anyone that looks deep into the society can see these and also make effort to contribute his quota towards investing in youths within that area.

Below is a brief description of how l saw an opportunity to invest in youths within my community;

The educational institutions within my community were no match to other institutions in other communities. The students from my community that were aspiring to be admitted to different Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics were annually seating and reseating for the same screening exam without any chance of doing better than they did initially.

The major challenge was because their schools were substandard and they didn't have enough resources to employ quality teachers for each subject. In that case, they made a teacher to be handling 3 or more subjects for both junior & senior Student so, the workload was already too much for the teachers. 

They ended up giving half-baked knowledge to these teenagers and this singular act made them to feel inferior whenever they are in the midst of their peers from other communities.

This made most of them to opt for lowly rated higher Institutions. The worst part of this is that many of them started loosing interest in furthering their education. 

After seeing all these, l stepped in and started investing my time towards helping to inspire these teens. 

I saw a tutorial centre where l spent quality time with university aspirants while holding tutorials for them. By the end of the time l spent with them, many of them were motivated to seat for their exams and they did well without any sort of exam malpractice.

These teens are out there and they are pursuing the academic discipline of their choice. It didn't cost me any currency to invest in them. I just invested my time and taught them how to learn and l'm sure that they are going to look back at that moment with a smile on their face. I'm proud of what l was able to do with these teens. I was inspired while inspiring them.
