Grasshoppers so Different and Beautiful
These grasshoppers are always there in my garden. I have mentioned here before that I have a terrace garden on the third floor of my house and I am almost always surprised by the number snails and insects I find here. I never really thought that grasshoppers could jump this high. Anyway it is so much fun for me to capture these insects and share them here.
I captured this image yesterday. This guy was up on the branches of my sapodilla tree.
This green one was found on my hyacinth bean plant. It's always om my cabbages and broccoli.
This guy was just hopping about on my terrace. Aren't each of them so different and yet so beautiful?

Ma'am great captures, the colors are so alive, I missed the grasshoppers, in our place though we are living in City, we have some grasses but you know I don't even find a drop of morning dew. I always remember when I was a kid there were grasshoppers and Praying mantis? Now all gone. You have such a wonderful place Ma'am to have this kind of creature. Thank you for sharing at least even in pictures I can still see them.

Sofs Su 17 JanHi Cherry, I live in a huge city too, but thankfully I see all these in my garden everyday. I had put pictures of a praying mantis here...He is always there in my garden.
We used to catch grasshoppers as children and put them in boxes hoping they will become our pets.. LOL I am glad children these day don't do that. :D

BTW. . I feel fear of grasshopper. I know they never harm but feel fear. Lol.
