How do you feel when you miss something, an appointment, a lecture, an event or a special moment.
Feeling down and disappointed isn't it? .
That was just the feeling I had sometimes back in college when I missed my school bus, but I never knew it was a blessing in disguise 😜
It all happened some week to exams, for sure all students hands were on deck crossing their "T(s)" and dotting their " I (s)" not leaving me out for sure🤓
I got stuck in the library all day studying a topic from my favourite course, biology. I got lost with time in the process not knowing I had a bus to catch up with at 2pm .
Here I am now sitting at the bus stop looking dejected thinking of the lonely walk down home.
A soft gentle voice saying, "Hello" struck my ear lobes, I tried thinking through who it could be but my wildest guess failed me. On raising to see for myself I got dumbfounded by the beauty of the figure right in front of me.
Hello she said again before I recovered.
Guess who it was
I don't need to tell you much about her 🤓 we only get to meet once a week on the assembly and I try as much as possible to get a glimpse of her each time I noticed her, she is so adorable.
Now she's right in front of me speaking, I got dry mouth looking more timid as she did all the talking.
For sure, she missed her bus too and lucky me, we were heading the same way home. We got to share a lot along the road it was my longest journey home I never wanted to end.
Right from that day we became best of friends and sometimes we decide to miss our bus home just to get to have that feeling once more.
Truly missing my bus that very day was a blessing in disguise.
My crush is now my girlfriend🙈🙈.
